Expandable "Newest Posts' Section

Post by Harry Granger » Mon Jan 22, 2018 11:58 pm

I'm not sure if this has ever been discussed or may even be a thing that is accessed somewhere else but is there any possibility of having an expandable 'Newest Posts' section or where by you can set how many it shows?

It's quite nice having a look through whats being chatted about even if it's not related to your own car/model but being limited to 5 seem to hinder this a little.

Just a thought, no idea on relevence! :D

Have you discovered the "Unread Posts" view? It's the third one down on the "Quick Links" menu. The first time you go in there, there will probably be rather a long list, if you haven't used it before. You can overcome that by using "Mark Forums Read" on the right hand side, but once you've done that, "view unread" will show you all the new posts that you haven't read, and no matter how many times you log in and out, they stay in the list until you read them. I find it's the best way to ensure you don't miss anything, and use it (bookmarked) as my normal entry point to the forum. :)
