security certificate

Post by gtcse8 » Mon Dec 12, 2016 10:47 am

Has anyone else been refused entry to scimweb??.

Every time I try logon I get a blocker popup that tells me the site is not safe and the security certificate has expired or is not validated??.

I can work round it but it`s a bit worrying in this climate of scams and hackers.

Which browser are you using, Mark? IE is a bit suspect which is ironic given it's the least secure browser out there...

Google Chrome (what I use - or Safari, depending on whether I'm at a desk or on my phone) have no issues.

This has just started about a week ago, I`ve made no changes to my laptop.

Running windows 7 ultimate but can`t remember which browser.

I haven't experienced the problem (Firefox on W10). It sounds very like this problem reported previously. Worth checking Ian's reply in that thread.
