Just did a test with one of my test user (normal rights - not admin).
I had no problem saving a draft.

But I noticed Phil did beat me :D :D

Apologies to any new RSSOC members, or those who have recently updated their profile with their membership details but a little side effect of the server move is that we are currently unable to upgrade your account status. To see the members-only information, please use the Slice login for now.

Sorry for the inconvenience and please be assured we are working to fix the problem.

Hi Guys? I'm a newbie. Been reading your posts. I'm glad I signed up after the web was transferred to this server.

Garreth,
It wasn't that bad. Any move over will have some issues.
Almost no downtime, that was a pretty good move.

The latest Firefox update has labelled the club site as "not secure" - anything need addressing ?

My Firefox says 'Error code: NS_ERROR_NET_INADEQUATE_SECURITY'

Safari 5.1.10 as you can see is working fine.

Firefox works fine for me, on Windows 10.

Agreed, I applied the latest Firefox Update earlier today, and it seems to be working fine for me on W10. This issue sounds as though it's a continuation of the issue that some people reported in this thread (and previous ones, linked there) and not connected to the recent server move?

This thread was somehow ressurrected from the time of the PREVIOUS server move in 2011

Anyway Roger, you are right about about it being linked to the other thread, but not linked directly to the recent server move. Also this thread

I have tried to improve security, and can have the site satisfying quite strict requirements, but that then leads to incompatibility with browsers that can't handle it. Its a minefield of conflicting requirements and, for the time being at least, I can't get the latest browsers to give the site a clean bill of health AND provide access for those using other than the latest and greatest :? . I've rolled back the changes I made.

Ah yes, you're right! When I saw the posts I thought it was the recent thread about moving the server (and the associated downtime)! My excuse is that I'm rushing to catch up after the Goodwood Members' Meeting :D

Just to let you know my Firefox is back to normal working and has been for a few days - thought I would leave it for a while before telling anyone JIC.
