As Craig has mentioned GW, thought it best if I mentioned QRG as the other main club trader in all things Scimitar. I haven't personally bought anything from them mail order (but know Nigel and have indulged in a few of his Curborough specials) I gather from other (mainly SS1 owners for some reason) that their service and technical backup is very good indeed.

Got to agree there, I went to them having been recommended by Avo and they were able to advise me exactly which shocks and spring set I should get for my application. Extremely helpful.
All I need is the time off from work to fit them.

Also it was one of only two occassions where the 24hr post actually arrived within 24hrs which is a miracle for this neck of the woods!!

For SS1 bit's it's QRG every time for me!

Spent a fair sum of money with Nigel since the begining of the year, always fast delivery (apart from the Petrol tank) and is always happy to give advice.

Highly reccomended :D

Big thumbs up for Nigel at QRG, collared him on the phone yesterday, gave him the wrong part number, and today I'm graced with the correct NOS downpipe for my SS1.

This is only the second time I've used QRG, but I'm impressed :-)

Nigel's always given me fast service and his international postage is much cheaper than GW's.

Endose all the above, as I've had good service for parts & advice for a few years for my previous car SS1, and now for my GTC, from Nigel and his staff

QRG... Brilliant delivery

Post by myredscimitar » Fri Nov 28, 2014 12:35 pm

Top marks to Nigel and UPS ( yet again )

Ordered a set of SS1 rear shoes over the phone about 1200 yesterday, UPS delivered them at 1100 today.

If we weren't going out for a boozy lunch in a few minutes they would have been fitted within 24 hours of finding I needed them.

Great service as usual.

The Scimitar SS1 is not so much a car as a lifestyle statement; it basically says "I'm mad, and I don't care".

I'm aware this is an old thread, but Nigel continues to be a font of wisdom.
He sees to know every thing about my GTE 6B & postage is always prompt,
& I'm in Australia.

I wholeheartedly agree. John and Greta had a great attitude to customers when they established QRG and Nigel has maintained this. I just hope Nigel manages to maintain his enthusiasm if the plans for redevelopment of the current premises go ahead.

I decided to get a new orange rubber seal for my TI from QRG (via EBay) and there were some eBay/ PayPal issues. Nigel was patient, charming and effective in sorting the issues and all of this whilst on his holiday. It was way beyond the call of duty. I would thoroughly recommend QRG, simply because you can easily forget in this day and age what service means. I wouldn't care whether I had to pay a bit more (I'm sure they are competitive on price) because of this. If you are spending your money then send it Nigel's way and support this fantastic Scimitar resource!

I’ve ordered most of my stuff for my coupe from QRG with very efficient and very prompt service & postage. On occasion I have also phoned Nigel for advice when I couldn’t figure something out. A1 for customer service :hurrah: :hurrah: :hurrah:

It is such a surprise these days when people actually know what they are selling and what it's for. Normally, when you ask someone for advice on even basic stuff, you just get a blank look from the poor, disinterested, zero hour staff... Fortunately it's not like that in the Reliant world :)

QRG - Excellent service!
Only got my 5a late December and needed some bits - looking at the cars history it had lots done at QRG over the years! I've had very good service and have spoken to Nigel since for technical advice (latest today, dropping fuel tank) as has been said before - support these specialised traders, their advice is invaluable - cheers!
