SE6a Burray Orkney

Post by Will Anderson » Fri May 25, 2018 11:06 pm

Spotted this car KCD 923W while on a break in Orkney. On SORN but MOT expired April 2013. Shows as registered 1/8/1980, manual.

Sorry Graeme, no chassis number but it would be good to know if it is on the register.

SE6a Burray Orkney

Whilst out today trying to get my Middlebridge ready for Silverstone at the end of the week, I was stopped by Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh with the bonnet up, when approached by a guy interested in the car. It turned out that he knew this Scimitar on Orkney as he lived there, and it has now been moved to a boat yard but did not know whether the owner intended to restore or scrap it. He did say that the yard owner was a champion of lost causes so I said an old scimitar that has been stood in all weathers for years should be right down his alley. :D
