GTC on TV last night

Post by Sabreite » Thu Nov 07, 2019 1:39 pm

Channel hopping last night trying to find something decent to watch (unsuccessful!) happened to land on Quest “Find It Fix It Flog It”as they showed a cream GTC, the info given on the show was Geoff and Sam from East Sussex wanting money to fund their project, the GTC, Reg number X01 113 just wondered if the club was aware of the car? The episode is Series 1 Episode 7.

Hi John, Yes I certainly know that car! :D (In fact you may have seen it before also??) It's GTC107 which was being discussed recently in another thread here
It used to belong to Gordon Wells, who was at one time quite active with it and other Scimitars in Club and other events. Coincidentally, the Coupe he used to own got a mention in another thread recently. From memory, as well as the 5-speed box mentioned in that earlier linked thread, I think it had a John Wade built cologne as well. Certainly deserves to be back on the road! (as a matter of interest, did they mention roughly where it is now?)

Here's the picture from the GTC register:
