Hi all,

thought i'd say hello, just brought my new Scimitar home, i actually bought it of an advert on this very forum from mikesu - really nice guy :D i'm based in Rotherham and i collected the car from Chichester so about a 500 mile round trip but why not!

really great forum you have here already took in loads of info hope to contribute too - much prefer forums than facebook as a reference for others they are a far superior format

hopefully once i get my car running i'm going to use it as a daily driver (thats the plan anyway) but we'll see how that goes  i'm used to classics i've got a few others mainly from the 70's, escorts, transits and a land rover

enough from me for now

Welcome on board.
Please start a project thread on the car with lots of piccies, it helps keep a record of work done.
Good luck with the Scimitar.

Welcome Carlos  (I remember him, shows how old I am)

Hi Carlos,
I know the owner and car very well being a Noggin member!
Yes, it was very unfortunate about the timing wheel "letting go" but it's good to see that you're the new custodian and will hopefully get it back on the road soon. :D
