Post by Eric2205 » Mon Apr 10, 2017 12:32 pm

Hello,

I'm a french and Ilive in Bordeaux.
I've got 2 classic English cars :
a Triumph Spitfire MKIV from 1973 and I bought it in 1988
a Wolseley 1100 from 1967 and bought it in 2007

Today I find a Reliant Scimitar GTE SE 5A and I hope find it quickly

No doubt Dark Star will be along shortly to tell you if there are currently any for sale in France. I think you will be happy with the car you get but buy the best one you can afford - it will save you money in the end. Welcome to the group.

Bienvenue! We are quite numerous in France . Noel Chambellan is not far from you. Chris Johnson's website is a great help to Reliant owners. :D

Thank you for your welcome messages
My budget for the car is about £ 5,500 and I hope to find one that will allow me to ride and have fun.

Bonjour Eric et bienvenue.
Félicitations pour ton choix de Scimitar 8)
Jète un coup d'oeil sur http://www.scimitarfrance.net/scimitarf ... _Sale.html

Leur adresse 4 allée James Watt – ZAC Chemin Long - 33700 Bordeaux/Mérignac

Hi,

I found my Scimitar
It's a GTE SE5a from 1972 with an automatic gearbox. A beautful red car !!
Too happy
I'm going to pick it up on Saturday, May 20

Great news Eric.
I can't see the photos though ...
Only two red SE5a's in Scimitar France, Simon's is a manual, Nick's I can't remember.
