SE5a stainless steel fuel tank

Post by Tinker man » Mon Mar 19, 2018 10:01 am

good morning all,

as you may have seen on my project update the bespoke exhaust i have manufactured means that this stainless tank, bought from a member on here last year, will no longer fit. so thought would ask on here first.

it is now surplus to requirements. its been cleaned up and so have the straps. cannot 100% vouch for the sender as i have never fitted it, but see no reason that it wont work.

i live in Davenham Cheshire and work in Stoke on Trent most of the time. i can deliver if necessary within a reasonable distance or you can collect. if required can get a reasonable price to deliver through work at your cost.

how does £75 sound?

just drop me a PM or reply to this. thanks, Ian.

If it is made of nuts and bolts I WILL take it apart..... going back together is a whole different ball game

Nope - 6-series tank is 3” wider.

Also if your car is a later one (roughly, but not exactly, Se6a-on) then it will probably have the flow and return fuel system, which needs two stubs on the tank, which a 5-series tank won't have.
