SE5a needing new home urgently

Post by kevincooper » Sun Mar 04, 2018 8:20 pm

I have been contacted with a1972 SE5a needing a new home , it has to be moved by 14th March by the son of the current owner.

His parents have to get rid of the SE5a by 14th march other wise it goes for scrap, make them a silly offer they will be glad to get rid of it, someone could restore it .
They are near Bridgwater Somerset telephone number 01278 683561

Regards

Kevin

I think it’s CFN877K Jim. A friend saw it last weekend and sent me some pics (obviously I told him to go back and get the chassis number :D ). Not moved in 15 years and no suggestion then of the immediate nature or I would have shared earlier.

Thanks Jim. The car isn't on the register. Looks a good project.

Hi Dcrosby

The best I can suggest is to call the owner and see if it is available, the number is in the initial post

Regards

Kevin

Any noggins got a storage unit/lockup that would squeeze one in until a permanent owner can be found?

I'd sweet talk the engineer manager/director if I thought it'd work...

I mean personally with time and the kids that would likely be parked and not be touched...or even worse forgotten about for a while.

But I'll make enquiries anyway as that space I propose to him is technically the "boneyard" for dead buses at present

It's saved, that's the most important thing
