Selling my dual fuel, A4LD automatic GTC. New MOT.

My car park is filling up with customers vehicles and I am running out of space. So, I have to thin out a bit and wondered if my GTC would be of interest? It is a 2.8 (new Weber carb) with approx 30K on the engine. It has the four speed A4LD with the TCC correctly installed and is dual fuel petrol and LPG (fuel gauge auto switches between tanks). Petrol tank is a full size stainless type with inboard fuel pump. Soft top in decent condition and a hard top is available to go with it. There is a towbar fitted with full towing and caravan electrics. Alpine CD radio feeding four speakers and Bluetooth hands free is installed and has a hardwired connection in the centre console for USB devices / iPhone. Gearshift has been replaced with the correct animal from the Mk2 Scorpio.
Clock has been swapped with a temperature gauge that monitors gearbox oil temperature, for my interest. That can be swapped back if need be.

Delivery can be arranged to anywhere in the country or even Europe if required.

I'm interested, do you have any more photos? Inside, engine bay in particular.
What condition is the body/paint?

Yes I can post some more photos tonight, don't have many with me.

Interior is OK but a little tired, however I do have a new interior that could be fitted after negotiation. Body is reasonable with "patina ;-) " with offside front wheel arch being in primer at the moment. However that can be dealt with before sale if required, as can any other small issues.

Intrigued by 2 items in the underbonnet photo - apologies if covered in your resto thread, did not notice on quick run through.
1- the device plumbed in next to the VIN plate (with an electrical connection?) - is it an adaption to the heating system?
2 - Also the replacement header tank looks like the one on my VW golf - so are you running it without an overflow, and is this due to your using the waterless coolant (less expansion volume??). My GTC's header tank is so opaque I can't see the fluid level & the top lip is showing signs of distress from years of pressure cap removal; so considering replacing with a newer type of header tank.

Header tanks works in the same way as the original. Feed down to the radiator and a return from the top of the engine. They are quite reasonable and is one of the few I have found that will fit in the space. I have a new one in stock if you need it?

I have a new seat of almost perfect, late seats that I can fit in place of the tired ones and also some great condition under seat/footwell carpets. That should make it nice inside. I will also paint the front wheel arch, currently in primer.

Interested in realistic offers please as I need the yard space.

Having had a most unwelcome Christmas card from HMRC, I could do with selling to raise the money I now have to find!

£6995 and I am happy to fit the new seats and footwell carpets if wanted.

Replacement seats and front footwell carpets being fitted this week coming. If anyone is interested in the car, I can get it out and give it a wash etc as well as removing my radio gear.

MOT now passed with a couple of advisories. New interior is fitted and look much better. Radio gear is all out so it is ready to go.

I'm tempted to bring it to Curborough and display it there for sale, would anyone be interested in seeing it and maybe purchasing there?
