That said the steering cowl is off and the ignition looks damaged. Possible attempted theft?

Yes thats correct i did walk away from that car after conversations with the seller in detail for extra description to confirm it was what i wanted as my first reliant these turned out to be incorrect also never listed things wrong and werent show in the photos or the photos were old. I travelled from bristol to brighton with the cash on the train and had already insured the car so hopefully this shows that i am not a time waster i was the only one out of pocket substantially

I bought it, was stolen I have fixed the ignition, it runs sounds good, light switch needs a bit of work, given a good t-cut now looks red not pink! Apply for v5 then get it on the road! Mrs not happy with my new toy though!
