Depending on the age, there were 2 axle types fitted - 7HA and 4HA - although that doesn't necessarily mean the same one is fitted now. A picture of the rear plate (where the watts linkage is) should be able to identify it.

Hi, Im using a Jenson Interceptor axle which has a LSD, I assume the 4ha is what Im after...I'll be cutting down the case to suit, thanks

Yep, the Interceptor (CV8 too I think?) was 4HA. I presume it’s the same width?

No, the Jenson axle is really wide, thats why I need the shorter shafts......

Ah, missed the bit about cutting the case down! Sounds like a really long winded way of getting LSD and discs - presume the axle was dirt cheap? :D

The axle was in my parts stash pile, cost me about £30 quite a while ago, the hubs swop over no problem

Got your PM, just been busy with hospitals and Dr`s.
Was going to get back to you on which 4HA length you prefered.

The short SE5 or longer SE6???, both will take the SE5 hubs and bearings.
