SS1 Rear Springs

Post by unclebob1951 » Sat Aug 12, 2017 5:34 pm

Need a pair of 2.5" standard springs to fit Avo adjustable seat shocks. Ones I have are too stiff, so could be available if you like your teeth shaken out.

Faulkners make a 2.5" spring that you can buy direct or from demon tweeks, alternatively give Avo a call. There's not as much choice in 2.5" as 2.25 or 1.9" ID springs.

Out of curiosity, what's fitted st the moment?

Still got my ancient probably original and very squeaky units. Only do social domestic and pleasure stuff, so not needing formula 1 spec.

Is it the springs or is there any chance the AVOs are stuck on max damping? Rear spring/damping is pretty good from the factory - I think I have several serviceable s/h standard units on the shelf.
