SE5a Door Cards and Window Regulator Channel

Postby DrunkenSailor » Tue Feb 14, 2017 6:53 pm

Evening everyone,

I'm looking for a set of upper and lower door cards for an SE5a both left and right. Black would be preferable but I can vinyl dye tan ones. I might be clutching at straws but hopefully someone out there is either breaking a scim or sitting on a few spares. Also looking for left and right channels for the regulator. The ones that fix onto the bottom of the window with the guide rail for the regulator arm.

Ta.

Hi - guess your car is a se5 not se5a as the se5a has one piece door cards while the se5 as a thin top section and a much larger bottom halve with door pull.

Cheers Dave

The top section on a 5a is basically a piece of vinyl wrapped around a piece eve of hardboard and foam.

QRG do new ones if the budget will stretch...

That's not a bad price. I would be charging about that for a pair custom built with Foamex.

I have a few of the bottom glass support channels that are left after little barstewards smashed my windows.

Also can you confirm your motor as a 5A, not 5 ??

Yeah, it's a '73 model so definitely a 5a. Shall I PM you?

Charlie

I`m at my emporium on Sunday and I know where at least One of the channels is hiding, will try find the others.

They covered in grease and not rusted out like they do.

Got my lower part black door cards from Aldridge trimmers via ebay for around £156 for the pair ready to fit, good quality, take about 3 weeks to arrive as they are made to order.
