What an ace present. Although the body is looking a little sorry for itself, the interior doesn't look too tatty

recon unleaded engine

Jim and richie are after borrowing some bits for 8 ball

The car has made the 20 yard trip from richie's garage to mine. Work can know start. first 2 jobs are to sort the sticking brakes and go though the wiring with a fine tooth comb. Jim had a look at the wiring before xmas and it looks like someone has done a bodge job.

I've taken a half day off work, I've got a wiring diagram from Jim, I'm off into the garage to tackle the wiring. I'll be back on here in about an hour with questions I recon.

SHE RUNS :D
After some tinkering and quite a lot of help from Jim she starts and runs, just need to buy and fit a ballast resistor to stop the coil overheating.

My first look at the electrics revealed that most of the lights work just the side lights causing a problem
