Had this when I "cleaned" the air flow mass sensor.
Might be worth checking it's not gotten wet or such, I think a fault will send it into a safety mode where it softly bumps up to 2k rpm

CAS is in the dizzy.

I have a spare working dizzy here that I can lend you for Ty Croes if it turns out to be that.

Ben's SS1 - Ti Sprint Car

Post by Benc » Thu Jun 27, 2019 8:23 pm

Small update I have always found and been told my car was a bit willowy through the corners so after the last event 3 sisters I have fitted 300lb springs supplied via Mr RR (Thanks) and 240lb 10.5” long at the rear.

After a couple of short trips front is riding 150mm from floor to sills and rear about 170mm rear spring seat wound about 20mm up. Think this might settle a little lower after a few more trips?

Oh and fitted some new to me wheels I have had powder coated :D

I doubt new springs will settle much in the short term - could probably go a bit lower all round and a bit extra at the back?

Bring down the rear to level it up. 150mm at the sills is absolutely fine. Better to be at that height than too low.
