I love a happy ending. I'm filling up

i broke it to my beautiful wife i wanted to try to compete next year,

in the middle of offering to take her shopping (Truro doesn't have a massive choice so i was talking exeter)

she was so distracted / enamoured she said yes, mind you i only flashed a picture from slice 253 in front of her as we were waiting for green flag to take the 5a and us home

I'm sure she hasn't realised the thin end of the wedge has just been exposed...... :D :? :?

All,
I will be very sad to see the car go, we've been through a lot together and I've always had fun being involved with the SSSC and club in general. But life moves on and I don't have time or energy to commit to the SS1 anymore. I hope that Steve can make it into the missile it has the potential to become.

Thanks to everyone who's helped with advice, parts and banter over the years. I particularly want to thank Craig Hughes for getting me into the scene in the first place, for encouraging me, always being available on the end of a phone, and for generally being a good mate.

All the best,
Raz

Well the deal is done and I will be ringing Raz tomorrow to sort out the details.

I was reading the 2 rebuild threads today and a lot of work has obviously gone into this project.

Looks like a steep learning curve for me to further develop this car next summer hopefully for the 2015 season.

Prepare yourselves for lots of questions chaps, particularly you Craig  EDIT and Steve C

If you don't hear from me for a while it means telling SWMBO did not go too well

Just read Raz's build thread, there's some tasty bits on that car :D It looks like a great project to finish, but will take some long hours in the garage. This is where Josh will earn his keep I think

Yes looks interesting; brakes have had a lot of work and are now apparently "missing" according to Jims first post. Not sure if that refers to fronts or backs too; not sure if Raz fitted discs to the rear too. I'm making contact with him later so will pick his brains a little more.

Anyway plan to break the "good news" to SWMBO on the nice walk into town this morning.... wish me luck :w
