Brilliant Mike, although it might inspire some people to take up stamp collecting!

I've been pretty slow in posting lately (understatement of the year) but I have been busy.

Last season I did 8 RSSOC events, covered 4500+ miles in my beloved GTE and it took its toll both financially and mechanically, (buggered two gearboxes and multiple rear brakes .

Thus I've completed a rear disc conversion from bits i'd amassed to couple with the vented disks up front so should have some brakes this season.
I've also fitted some new old school dukes of hazard wheels, stripped and painted the engine bay and now starting on the interior as its poo.

My events last year were also blighted with rain and so a tad frustrating. Although the highlight was, and still is, meeting fellow compies and scimitar nuts and just having the banter.

I still live in Falmouth and we've realised we probably wont move. Its not the warmest place on earth but it sure it one of the most beautiful. My daughter has gone to uni as a mature student and having a hard time financially so limited bank of dad is trying to support her, and so the sprinting unfortunately has to take bit of a back seat so I'm just doing some light stuff this year,

Gentle introduction, Wiscombe this saturday. Competition looks pants. Is that all they could muster...

Thanks Craig. I do remember them competing and will certainly introduce myself. TBH I'm just so glad to be back at the start line.

Awesome day. Rain at 7am. sun burn in the afternoon. Too many compies and a bad crash meant we only got one timed run. But a brilliant 50.13 and more to come. No bias valve meant i was locking up the rears coming into the woods. However flat out over bunnies leap and through the esses meant lots of adrenalin, action, tyre noise, tyre smoke back end out, knocking knees and adrenalin rush.

Truly fantastic hill.

And some incredibly quick machinery. Believe it or not a screamer of a mk1 golf gti that was truly

Oh and i beat at least one, a porsche..... will wait for full results

Broken leg and trapped for a while wich you wouldn't wish on anyone. but it was a tiny very old open seater Cooper with no protection, open skinny wheels with old tyres . really was an accident waiting to happen . simply hit a bank and flipped.

Great time mate :D I think we can work our your next target.........

Bunny's flat takes some doing. I always felt the top of the hill pretty scary, particularly in a fast or old car.
