450. So how do you get that delivered to the floor without backend trying to overtake the front. :?:
Decent tyres & optimized suspension
You forgot immense driving talent too...
This is awkward and a bit embarrassing. I’d really intended on driving my own car next year....

A regular garage night with 'Engineering Crouch' in attendance, to tut at my cack handedness, and gently steer me from chopping thru the lead of the angry grinder/setting fire to ones own hoodie whilst welding/helpfully pointing out where id left the thing id had in my hands not 10 seconds before--thank you Brian, your Jedi-like advice is invaluable 8) 8)

So our progress this evening...

Ordered a new rad, bigger than Polo version, currently the bit of melamine board is replicating the proposed item but the rad will be 50mm wider, may need a little tickling if the chassis rails (notching).
Means the rad can be not as tall allowing a more upright positiong and wont compromise the intercooler positioning, allowing two separate flow paths for the air.
When the rad arrives i can see how the splitter frame work can be triangulated to take bodywork and aero loads
