Yeah a mate from the sxoc days, martin '30psi' effectively chopped up a DET lower runner (the short initial bit of the 2 piece DET plenum) and grafted to the ET head flange. The port spacings dont line up so you need to be creative with ally welding and a die grinder ;-)

Alternatively you could just lop the rectangulr upper plenum off the DET manifold and graft onto the top of the ET runners. This is effectively what Chris Eades did on the car that the Oakes now run, and what Dave Evans did on the car Peter Smith owns (albeit Peters is round tube, not square).

The DET cylinder runners are actually the longest, the enter the side of the plenum. Next longest is the Canadian fannymold.

Well I'd done naff all to the cars for a few weeks whilst we had the entire house re-roofed, and then went for a two week break to Borneo for some orangutan bothering.

I survived the rainforests and now have a watertight roof, so have now started on the 2020 prep.

Sideways is fine but I wouldn't advise trying upside down ...

It would have been a write-off if it hadn't been so rare (note where the pilot is sitting)
The second time I wrecked it I ripped off all the underside including the rhd rack and a brand new complete stainless exhaust system :roll:
Then I sold it back to Claremont Corvette and Tom Falconer (Mr Claremont) had a heart attack.

I've just noticed the reversing lights ...

I've got two different compounds, but not sure which is stickiest as information is sparse. I'll post up what I can find out.
