There’s all sorts of things you can do as long as it doesn’t contravene any of the statements in the BB.

Think outside the box, lighter seats, floor carpets, stereo, speakers, home brew door cards, boot liner, single skinning the boot and bonnet etc.

Go mod prod and you can get away with more. It can still be road legal in mod prod.

As per answer on Facebook - single skin bonnet and bootlid, modify inner door panels to clear the cage but original locks, windows, heater, etc must remain. I have a Polo rad, gel battery and alloy armature to try and take a bit of weight from the front.

Forgot that - I single skinned the HT too :D

Must keep glass throughout in RG and while I kept the side mounting points I probably should have kept the standard screen top mounts too.

I have but I doubt anyone would complain if it was blanked off - at the end of the day we’re running in a power to weight championship, so weight saving is penalised. If you were competitive in a non power to weight championship, they might be a bit stricter on that sort of thing - I have heard of tin-tops being bumped a class because they’ve lightened the inner door skins (hidden behind the door cards).

Glue the front panel from a face-off radio in place.
