1/4 light seals
Can anyone who has bought them comment on these seals, I see that they are priced at £160 + £10p+p for us members.
Is this a Pair or single unit, does it include the lower frame to door seal ( pivot vent ) 207861, use 6749 in parts book.

Yes, that's a pair (they are handed) and no it doesn't include the lower frame to door seal.
I've got them for the Coupe but not fitted yet...

1/4 light seals
Hi Mark/Guy,
I've had my replacement 1/4 light seals in the home office drawer for nearly 2 years now as I bought a set when the Club first had them in stock. Not replaced them as I was trying to source a replacement passenger side quarter light window with an intact top swivel "eye" as my original is missing. So thanks to Roger Parton, we did a door/window swapsy at Curbs and now I just have to pluck up the courage and dismantle the doors/doorframe to insert the new seals.
I'm planning on doing it fairly soon, so will take some photos throughout the job to show others what's involved! What this space..... or rather over in the Project Progress department!!
Cheers
Kev

I replaced both sets on my 5a back in early 90s with good used.
I too looked into getting the rubbers re cast but Victor put more effort and cash into it than I could.
But having looked a bit deeper just recently I think I may be able to get the frame to door seals re cast at a decent price, may even try crowdfunding if enough folk were interested.

I thought GW/QRG had the “pedestal” seals in stock?

Never try and argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you based on experience.

Yes, I'm pretty sure I saw Nigel had a few on his stand at Scimfest/Curbs.....
FWIW, I bought mine and fitted the Pedestal (Door frame to top of door under the quarterlight) seal from QRG back in 2007.
Cheers

1/4 light seals
Advertised on QRG website, but didn`t have any left when my customer asked about 2 years ago LOL.
BUT, having JUST asked GW it would appear they have stock at £31 each, AND ONE PAIR of 1/4 light seals, only sold in pairs and One pair in stock @ £190.
