Post by 1969SE5 » Sat May 10, 2014 1:41 pm

hi all
i am after some help please, i am retro fitting a Jag Lsd to my SE5, i require spacers to fit in the diff, to overcome the sliding 1/2 shafts. has anyone done this already, that would have either spare spacers, or drawings to get some made up ?

It might be worth asking this seller nicely as he has made these spacers already.

good thinking, great minds think alike, already done that, he does not want to sell on their own, and reckons he has no scanner to send me a copy of the drawings, nor can he remember where he downloaded them from, so total dead end, many thanks for taking the time to forward to me, much appreciated.
cheers

Found this after a bit of searching...

Image

From this thread http://www.rodsnsods.co.uk/forum/tech-d ... axle-41394
You will need 2 and a roll pin the join the 2 halves through the diff cross pin and it sounds like getting them hardened is important otherwise they will wear against the ends of the halfshafts, thus affecting the end float...

And a Jag specialist who sells them
David Manners Part 7687/8
- not cheap though at £66.71 though I assume this is for a pair of spacers and the roll pin
(Part No 7687 is the spacer and 7688 is the roll pin)
