Brooklands Members Classic Car Show & Jumble

Gave the SS1 a rare run out yesterday and glad I did too! Came away from the event with a First In Class award, beating a DB7 (3rd) and Golf GTi (2nd), which was most unexpected. Whist the show is for members only, the public are still admitted and the good weather saw an excellent turn out. All members cars are considered for an award, based on general overall condition (think Pride of Ownership rather than Concours), so the judges had quite a task getting around all the vehicles. It was good to be able to give the marque a little exposure, especially as the winning cars are all called into the paddock in front of the clubhouse for the awards.
