Name that door

Stumbled on this old gold metallic door on a walk with the kids. Shocked the young ones when I told them the make and model. :D

Maybe as a kid I did spend too much time revelling in style of 70's cars. Anyone else want to have a go or is it obvious?

You could do worse than 'grab ' the handle - they were also used on the Jensen Healey. How anoraky is that!

Beryl   Spot on Dave :D

I remember a guy on that 80's TV show 'You Bet?' naming cars from the sound of doors shutting and another on rear light clusters. Probably door handles too  Not sure many could do that with today's cars?

However that's a relief I can reassure the children that dad studying and naming bits scrap metal on forest walks is normal.

And I remember him cheating when he got to a car he wasn't sure of he leant heavily against it to guess the shape and give him an edge on his guesswork .
