Guernsey has numbers only, I believe.
Jersey has a J in front.

Guernsey issues plates with up to 5 digits only.

Though you're right Jim, at least one middle Eastern country does all-digital plates too (can't remember which?)

Guernsey I think has numerical only (Jersey are prefix ‘J’) but are generally silver on black and have GBG on the plate.

I was driving up the road today, only a few hundred yards from home, and I saw a black 2017 VW Golf coming in the opposite direction with a plate that would have done for me - RP 11 :D

Spotted earlier this year near Cheyne Walk/Row, Chelsea - may already have appeared on here. Good as a pair.[image]

I’m out in Gibraltar for a weeks sunshine . All cars have the prefix G then a number . Spotted G2 on a ordinary boring Japanese family car . Then G1 on the Governors car a black Lexus .
Now if the owners of G1 in this country on a black Bentley drove to Gibraltar on there holiday that would create problems wouldn’t it .

Edit Gibraltar G1 now on a Tesla!
