A few years ago (20+) a local character used to run round in an XJS that had plates that appeared to read LESI 69 - if a number plate is memorable, won't the car be identifiable?

LES 169 is a genuine plate still in use - M11LFS is on a grey Porsche?

A Macan sounds right - SUV-ish.

Saw an odd looking plate (all numbers) on a Mini which sailed past me on the M6Toll tonight - only on closer inspection it was a Qatari plate! Seen plenty of US plates around the Mildenhall and the odd Arab-region one in the past, but this was a new one for me.

Another one that made me smile was HAY80Y on a wagon. Can you guess what it was carrying?..
