three motors all with SL, FL and somat L all with two digits AND a Bently with XF two digits (obviously they had a Jag but couldn't afford to swap the plate of the Bently) and the fifth one also had a low plate number!!!

I saw (black/silver plates) 401 on a Freelander this morning - obviously not a UK registration.

I also thought I saw RR11DHC on a what I think was a new RR Dawn DHC - but it doesn’t appear on DVLA so I must have misread it?

Hi Jim,
Most states in Australia we can order (at a price) any plate up to six digits you want.
In NSW, 86 GTE, is available, they charge a yearly fee, makes the rego steep.

Mark from down under.
Current GTE 6B, Dolomite Sprint, Scirocco R. Past XJS (manual), V12 E-type (manual, convertible, lovely) 350 chev XJ6, TR6, TR4, Sprite, Midget, local Ford V8s, others... There's a pattern here.….

RR100 used to be owned by RR in the late 60s when I worked with them, I wonder if it still is?

Yep - that fits now I’ve seen a pic of one.

Around this neck of the woods you do almost let some pass you by - there’s a lot of “JCB” cars around here and it’s not uncommon to see a Bentley with a “WO” registration from time to time.
