A lot of old American stuff towing caravans on the A14 this morning, lots of stuff on the M1, presumably heading to Silverstone. Highlights were a convoy of XK120, 40 and 50 and a lovely AC Ace

26th July, Rover P6 at the side of the B9113 near Dubton. For years there was the remains of an old tractor sat at the house on the grass verge - still there on Streetview. The way the Rover is parked suggests that it gets used too.

Two interlopers at our August Bromley Noggin meeting. Paul left his Middlebridge at home and enjoyed his immaculate Marcos Mantula for the evening and similarly Richard left his GTC in the garage and showed off his lovely looking Rolls Royce Cornish to us for the first time in his 2 (?) year ownership.

After packing-up my tent etc, and leaving Curborough late morning Monday, I planned my route to take me past Goodwood, to take some car photos (just for a change
). I knew I was getting towards Goodwood, when coming towards my down the road I saw a Jaguar XJR-15!
Not something you see everday! No photo I'm afraid as I was driving. Duncan Hamilton & co were having a trackday, and there were a dozen XJR-15s in attendance, sadly they had made their escape by the time I arrived. There was still a good selection of classic exotics (Cobra, GT40, T70, E-Type, Aston DB4GT and so on.
