Ah, that was probably just a trial, then he thought "on reflection, I don't like that!"

Today in Chipping Norton - a Triumph GT6 (fast back 6 cylinder Spitfire)
Tuesday around Altrincham, Cheshire - several Bentley Continentals with satin finish paint. Why?

A very very early MGB roadster (non letter suffixed plate) in dark blue. The car had been completely rebuilt with a new shell and new parts for a TV program a while ago, raffled, sold and resold. It was on very shiny wire wheels and over all really looked as new - apparently it is always carefully garaged. The mechanic charged with removing wheels and checking brakes was around 80 but on a lift with appropriate tools he made light work of it.
The car was at the same local 'classic friendly' garage I was having tuning checked on OPJ today, which is unfortunately closing shortly due the owner retiring - no photos as I forgot my I-phone.

About 12 Subaru Impreza WRX in mica blue in Banbury. Not far from from the Prodrive site. They were in convoy going in the opposite direction to me driving Williams Legacy estate. If anyone thinks they might like a Subaru, borrow one for a couple of weeks and drive it everywhere, putting petrol in it yourself...
I suspect the convoy was to commemorate the passing of Colin McRae
It's 12 years since Richard Burns died this weekend - how soon time passes

Just been to Old Woking, saw two "camouflaged" MacLarens out for a test drive, they were covered in black and white stripes; long gone by the time I could get the phone out to take pictures.

What about this?
Not only did I see it, but had the pleasure of driving it round the South Circular road this afternoon. Pity most of the inner and outer London streets are restricted to 20 mph. I managed to get up into 3rd at least twice!
Almost as good a drive as the Sabre Six, but with softer suspension.
