It's certainly true that he's made some money, but it's probably also true that motorsport in Britain would look very different today, had he not had the vision to buy Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Snetterton and Cadwell Park when he did. Back then they were basically loss-making, lame-duck businesses. I suspect that without his involvement, the fastest moving things at some of them now, would be the house prices......

Just came across a photo of my first Scimitar I had back in the late 80's as my daily transport. Wish I had kept the plate when I sold the car - TRC 3L (Tamworth Reliant Car 3 litre!!) - which is now apparently on a BMW. Don't know if the Scimitar is still out there though.

I don't believe it, a lavender Range Rover :barf:
The last apartment we bought was lavender everywhere, even the toilet (did you know they made lavender toilets?)
I've got it down to one bedroom (the boudoir) and ... the toilet.
I hate lavender.
And why has it (the Range Rover) a badge marked 'autobiography'?

Autobiography is the bespoke side of Range Rover . Anything you want they can do interior ostrich skin no problem and colour no problem , think Katie Prices pink Range Rover , Urg!
Fact , all Autobiography Range rovers start off black regardless of colour change because the under bonnet area always stays black regardless of what tasteless colour you want it painted .
