As I understand it although they are built to the exact original spec but with all new parts they they are classed as brand new cars and have to meet current regulations to be road registered which is impossible
This is true so any that are going to be used on the road will receive sympathetic upgrades or so I’m told

Grand Tour did an article with a modern XKSS and a DB4 GT, they had to fudge the road legal bit to use them on the road.

I think there point is that whilst the moderns are million pound cars, the originals are 5 times that!. As a comparison they were outrun by May in a Honda Civic R!

No picture I'm afraid, as I was driving, but yesterday I saw one of the forthcoming new Rolls Royce "Cullinan" SUVs, very disguised with it's camouflage paint (mind you, the fact that I was only a couple of hundred yards from the factory, was a bit of a give-away!). It's certainly big, when it's going in the opposite direction down a narrow road!

At least as pretty (but then it was camouflaged!)
Actually, talking of the Bentley, I was parked next to one on Tuesday - it was perhaps a shame to rain on his parade, with my Superior Sports!

Saw a Ginetta yesterday - registration began G4 so I think it was a “Dare” car?

Then a Volvo amazon coming the other way - lots of stickers etc so possibly rally spec?

Going up crickley hill today - on a trailer was something old and boat tailed - but I was concentrating on the road and snow too much to get a positive ID :-)

That IPace looks as if the top half has sunk down into the bottom half. Is it just me or are all new cars getting uglier.

It's you. They actually all got uglier some years ago, about the time I retired and became officially a reactionary old git. But seriously, as a 3 times Jag owner, I feel ashamed to see the rubbish that that name puts out now. I-Pace - up and down wondering what the world is coming to...

Spotted a tidy looking Farina A40 in Stoke yesterday wearing Rostyles.

Never try and argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you based on experience.
