Has anybody used a speeduino on an essex V6 and would be able to share info please


1962 mini, bedford CA , KR200. morris 1000, mini pickup.several escorts,ford grandad.ford cortina X2 ,astra, SE5A x 2 ,ford focus.

I keep them on my radar - there’s a Speeduino group on FB which is typical FB - loads of people having issues but don’t know if that’s them being idiots, assuming that a “plug and play” one from RM is actually that (and doesn’t require any mapping :roll: ) or there are actually bugs galore with them.

Still undecided myself.

There’s a guy on Retro Rides who did a Rover V8 a couple of years ago who found it painless (as painless as Megasquirt as its very similar - uses TunerStudio as well) but not found many other success stories.

Thanks Phil I've built mine and I'm ready for the next stage I will be setting it up on my electronics bench first.

It’s basically a Megasquirt clone build around different processor (so new code). Principles remain the same except with more processing power they can add more “stuff”. Whether or not that’s an advantage is another matter!
