If, despite the thread title, they do fit SE5 as per earlier comment by windy, I will take a pair. In USA but if its better to ship to UK direct in bulk they can go to one of my car parts helpers

I'd like to put my name down for 3 pairs, (I've got 2x Coupes and 1x GTE all needing new seals!)

Cheers

Joe

If victor needs to sell and the committee haven't got round to sorting a deal I should think this initial 50 will be sold quite fast to individual members,

The following have sent a PM to me looking for seals.

2 - Shaun Pierce
1 - Stu Cole
2 - Viv White (Coco La Blanc)
1 - Kev Monk (monkey)
1 - Guy Betts (guybetts)
3 - Joe (Joe.)

The above makes up 10 for Victor's price of AU$225 + shipping + import duty (20%)
That is £105 per set + shipping + import duty (£21) + onward shipping within the UK

I will PM Victor to see if he is happy to ship 10, or if he prefers to sell all 50 to the club as Geoff is trying to organise.

Others who have expressed an interest since Victor announced they were about to be manufactured are;

1 - Geoff Cooper (toomanysabres)
1 - Luke Garratt (Lukeyboy46) after Christmas
1 - (Chgperformance)
1 - Chris Barker (toolmanchris)
5 - Geoff (AllingtonGT)
1 - (philynnbob)
1 - Peter Freeman (Peter freeman)
1 - (Stepheni)

That makes an another 12, happy to split this into 2 batches of 11. I will fund and co-ordinate the first batch if someone wants to do the same for the second.

That way the Club don't have such a big outlay to make, or the production batch goes from 50 to 72.

Regards,
Shaun

Spoke with Victor via PM, his preference is to sell all 50 sets (not yet manufactured but ordered) to the Club so as to recoupe all his outlay in one go. He is still happy to sell to me but it would be from a second manufacturing run if the Club buy the first batch. So standing by to see what happens. If the Club can't buy the first batch then my offer to purchase 10 sets and re-distribute still stands.

Regards,
Shaun

Shaun

Has Victor said he will definitely do another run? Although I have made a commitment to buy from your batch, I'd hate to loose out holding back by not buying one of the sets supplied to the club. I could buy 2 sets (1 from you and 1 from the club), but as I only need 1 set I'd feel guilty hoarding a set that someone may need.

Hi all, just joined the forum - been restoring my SE4 for a while now, it's basically finished other than putting the finishing touches to the doors but the broken, hard quarter light seals really p**s*d me off so this is really good news. Can I put my name down for a set please. Thanks, Russ
