excellent - hopefully it's quite self explanatory but If anyone requires any assistance in fitting, please let me know, in all cases please make sure you disconnect the battery first

4 plates sold - 3 more made this week and 2 just sold to the Club secretary today - so I have one more available and "real work" will mean there's no more produced for a few weeks, so first come - first served :D

Jim

I still want one. Hoepfully there will be another batch? I didn't get your PM - it was marked removed by sender - but I admit I hadn't looked at the website for about a month. May/June is/was a hectic time of year but I have retired from that job now. As before, no rush.

Regards

John

mods - any idea why? I certainly didn't recall a PM (and haven't actually looked to see if the function is even possible)

If you delete it from your outbox before the recipient has read it, then that will happen...but we did have a "glitch" with the database a while back where some outbox messages were lost

Potentially interested here - I'm trying to sell the car, but I noticed the base plate was a bit manky when adjusting the bonnet catches. If it's not a total PITA to swap over then looks like a bargain to get rid of the most obviously "grotty" bit in an engine bay!

10 minute job unless you find a mess of bodges below the fuse box that needs fixing :?

Here's one I did this weekend:

disconnect battery, remove fuse box cover, remove ALL relays (you have to remove relay 5 to access the corner screw but you need to remove them all to get the block through the hole, so you may as well do it while it's all bolted down). Remove the 4 screws from fuse block base & 4 screws from the relay block base (it's easier to remove these BEFORE removing the base plate mounting screws) - then remove the 4 base plate mounting screws:

twist block bases so that they pass through the holes:

refitment as they say, is a reversal of removal. Note that this base unit was the prototype and has larger mounting holes - new ones are supplied with pilot holes only.

unfortunately, I don't have any available at the moment :( will keep you updated.

ok - three more plates ready and primed (not the ones below but you get the idea :D ).
final 01.JPG
Price is STILL £25 plus £5 P&P to members, £30 plus £5 P&P to non-members. This is a fit an forget replacement, they're alloy, so won't rust.

Holes for the black holders are pre-drilled, the four to secure to the car are pilot drilled and will require opening up.

replies on here or PM me for orders please
