Unless Jim sold them all over Christmas, then there should be (at least) one left...Jim?

sorry - been offline for a few days - yes I still have plenty of standard rollbars in stock (but you have reminded me that I didn't do a Xmas stock check for David  ).

email me details - eg address and payment method if you want delivery. Pickup is possible from Yeovil or Gloucester subject to my availability. Prices remain the same as previously posted.

I don't know what batch size is needed to make re-manufacture financially viable, but would anyone (apart from me) like a rollover bar with two hoops, one behind each seat, rather than just the one bar across the whole width of the car ?
If this is possible, my existing standard rollover bar would be for sale.
Thanks

David

Sounds great mr dwh, something like the mx5 has ? Sounds expensive too.
are you opening yourself a can of worms, issues with with type approval, vehicle design, insurance claims ?

Start a new thread and see how much interest you get - I can look at the design aspects and worry about financial viability but I'm not going into type approval etc as its safer than nothing!

Final costs were:

members - £179.99

non-members - £199.99

UK postage and packing was £20
I think we've now sold 30 odd roll bars, including 3 (IIRC) modified for a lateral harness bar. I have sent them to France and Switzerland (and currently have an order from Holland) as well as all over UK without any complaint over packaging, fitting, etc.

I still have a few left from this last batch and (unbelievably in this economic climate :-)) the prices remain the same.

No self-respecting SS1/SST/Sabre should be seen without a roll bar, so email or PM if you need one :-)

If it makes them any more tempting, collection FOC can sometimes be organised from a National club event or even via the Scimaritans network...

Jim, I may be interested in a 6 point cage for next season  . Please could you get a price for me.

Cheers

I also confirmed prices for 4 & 6 point cages - £297.60+vat & £596.16+vat respectively.
I got a discount for ordering 3 or 4 at the same time.

It may be worth holding on until the end of the season then. If a few more people want one there may be a chance of a cheeky discount... I don't want to jump too soon...

I forgot to ask, where does one acquire the narrower fuel tank to allow this to be fitted (or have I got that wrong ?)

One does not simply acquire a narrower fuel tank, one has to be creative!

I assume everyone else has had one made somewhere. So where ? or is it borrowed from something else, kitcar supplier ?
