Roll Bars

We have a price for roll bars and will be having them manufactured in the very near future.

They will be the same basic spec as the Reliant item (but made from slightly thicker/larger dia MSA spec tube) - made by a professional chassis/spaceframe/rollbar manufacturer - soft top and hard top fitment will be unchanged. They will include B post attachments and all extra bolts, washers and spacers required to fit. I'll also write an idiots guide.

prices will be £179.99 for Club members and £199.99 for non-members plus P&P (TBC)

We posted a notice at the NEC and took 7 confirmed bookings (with a special show offer of free P&P) so we're having an initial batch of 15 made - I will be marketing them through the merchandise section, so you will be able to pay by cheque/PO/cash/credit card/debit card/PayPal using the link on the left - please register your interest here as the first batch is going fast.

For anyone that hasn't seen it - this is a picture of the standard item after the crash test dummy had extracated himself:

ME! Do you need a deposit or money upfront? Where will they be kept, and would it be possible to collect, as I'll be driving south to collect a hardtop at some point.

I'm afraid I can't give any firm dates yet - we have just removed a roll bar to send to the manufacturer, so that they can take exact measurements, confirm their estimated price, tool up for production and give us delivery dates.

Collection may be possible from my house but I can't guarantee that facility with any future merchandise officer.

I am taking firm orders and please only post if you are serious. I will take your word as an order, although you are welcome to place a deposit or full payment through merchandise@rssoc.co.uk as long as you email me to confirm receipt.

Forgot to mention that they will be powder coated black.

There is always the "Scimaritans" network...but as Jim says - delivery date is currently not confirmed. As for the pricing structure - your membership will be checked, so if your renewal notice has just dropped through the door, remember to renew

If I hadn't just got one from Sue, I'd have put my name down too. But a big well done to those who have made the effort our behalf.

ok cheers Pete - they haven't mentioned that yet but even with larger radius top corners, the same height and width, there shouldn't be any problems. I am buying one too, so I'll test it with hard & soft tops before sending any out.

I have one of Pete Silcock's batch and think it looks much, much nicer than the std one (Ok I know it's supposed to be functional!)
