How do all.
Curborough has, as ever, proved a wonderful showcase for the Scimitar and I enjoyed every day. I brought the three sets of components along but unfortunately didn't manage to make contact with those who expressed an interest in buying them. If Rob(Scimifancier), Nickandkarren and Tom(tomfollows) would still like them, please make contact through PM or e-mail soon.
Regards, Brian.

Hi Jeff. I'll wait until the people have had a chance to respond then go down the list. You are number seven so I'll keep you informed by PM. Regards, Brian.

Having spotted the "circular shadows of death" on my A posts over the weekend, I'd like to express a serious interest in a set - either leftovers from this batch or the next one as/when/if. No rush...

Hi Jeff.

Can you put me down for a set from the next batch? Ben (son) has been wanting to do his for ages.

PS. I had a similar thing done for the sill plates on the coupe but never did the A posts. The logic was that the sill were best done while the body was off but the A post could be done later (yet to be proven!).

Hi all, I think I've waited long enough for those initially interested to come back but haven't heard anything so I'm progressing to Stage Two.
My 5a is being fitted with the first set of "A" posts right now and, subject to a satisfactory conclusion, I'll have three sets ready immediately for delivery still at the advertised price. Darryl and I came up with the design specificlally for the 5a so don't know if they will suit the coupe.
So the updated list is:-
1. Mike Heatherington.
2. Jeff Hoole.
3. Phil Howard.
As soon as the design and fit is proved satisfactory which shouldn't be too long now, I will open up the next batch and update on this forum.
Best o' luck, Brian.

Chuffin' 'eck a year has passed since the prototype set was started to be fitted to my car! Well it's done, the doors are hung and everything is OK.
The work was messy extracting the bio-degraded originals, cleaning up the surfaces, glassing in the new components, but I'm very happy with the results.
The list of folks interested is:-
1. Scimifancier
2. Nickandkarren
3. tomfollows
4. Scimmy_man
5. Coco la blanc
6. Speedy555
7. Eric m
8. Jeff Hoole
9. Philhoward
10. Scarf
11. Alfablack
12. Chgperformance
13. Arthur_Se5a

PM me if you definitely want them and anybody else too.
Price was £35 per side, I'll try to get them for the same but considering it's been a long difficult two years since the initial order, the cost may be different. Delivered to Curbs or, most other compie events by prior arrangement, regards, Crusty.
