Pretty disappointing - told me he had none - or he would be short of two at least ...

I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.

Well I'd go for two sets for sure - a spare set and a replacement set for the Sabre.

He had them done last week as so many people asked. They're an off the shelf disc re-machined.

If they do the job I don't mind if they come from Mars ...

His 'new' sales person was supposed to keep me informed - unless he's left already ..

Look different to the last ones given they are double drilled. Assume this is a new batch, if the pad /bell clearance issue has been resolved, i shall have to put a set into stock for when the day comes that my current ones wear out.

Having acquired Corky's SS1 ( one of them anyway ) I have come into this subject rather late. The SS1 has vented discs but our Sabre still has the originals so it make sense to have them both the same. Reading Crouchie's post about the spacers he bought from http://www.ebay.com/itm/131133016724 I have just sent them a mail to see if they can supply spacers 18mm thick - seems to be the answer to keeping the price down if they can. All I then need is the discs - quick question do the ventilated discs use the same pads - I have spares in stock.

If it's the discs that you're after, then I think you need to contact GW direct, rather than asking on this thread?

Don't forget that if changing from standard, non-vented discs, you'll need to space out your callipers too, as mentioned in Peter's post

And longer wheelnuts along with the wheel spacers you need to clear the wider calipers.
