WIPAC are reasonably priced and good enough for most peoples' needs. You can find them just by Googling , or try the website of H.Bowers (UK), who may also have somemore expensive lamps if you want to go rallying! I have just had some non-dipping LED inner headlamps from Bowers , and they are fantastic! Only problem comes when I switch to dip beam, it suddenly seems to go dark!

In France Oscaro sell Cibiés for Triumph Dolomite at a very reasonable price.
In Germany try Autodoc.

...i only asked because read Lucas are quality wise not so nice. Cibiè as far as I have seen are of good quality...
@Oldconn: UK product may not work since I need LHD glasses (for german TÜV/ MOTmandatory), however have asked WIPAC for LHD types.

Mine comes from Germany, lights are Hella, I've not found the bill in the huge amount of papers the previous owner gave me.

Understood! I use <LHD lamps on my French-registered GTE , no problem in ordering them from UK .

When I changed the headlamps for right hand traffic 11 years ago, I was trying to cut corners and bought the chepest available beams (Saturnus). They are 100% crap, no light pattern what so ever. Looking through the headlamp aimer I couldn't even tell which way the "moose spike" was supposed to point. Would have failed the local MOT if not for a friendly inspector and the fact that the lights were brand new. So, bit the bullet got a set of Hella beams instead. They cost about 3 times more but I'd say they're still the better buy.

Anything from a decent brand, Hella, Cibië or Lucas (now a Bosch trading name). Wipac will do OK, it is has a good price/quality ratio.
Personally I do like the Cibië.

Sorry Erik but Bosch don’t own Lucas.

Lucas Industries has loads of subsidiaries and divisions and the trademark is owned by ZF.

Lucas Industries was merged with Varity and later, LucasVarity was sold to TRW, who sold Lucas diesels (previously CAV, previously CAV Bosch) to Delphi.

Lucas aerospace was sold to Goodrich, now part of UTC - some sections since sold to Rolls Royce.

TRW were bought by Northrop Grumman who sold TRW automotive to a Private Equity company.

The Lucas badges we see today on electrical stuff (Lucas Electrical) is made under license from TRW by Elta Lighting Ltd.
