Hello,
I have joined the monthly noggin of Vincennes en Anciennes on this 1st of February, the Flying Sub was on duty for this purpose
To give you an idea of the variety of vehicles, I have prepared a series of thumbnails which you will find below ...
it's an (almost) exhaustive list of the cars on display this month, there are usually more cars ... when the weather is nice
Sorry for the amount of pics ... fortunately they are all now on Photobucket, so it won't affect the forum quotas (phew)

I have also sent the pics to Chris, so that he could pick up his favorite to put on Scimitar France 8)

Cheers,
Fred

Let's start with the French Series !

Very tasty, thanks Fred!
It's curious, in the south nobody goes out in winter, although "winter" is hardly the right word.
Mind you, it is a lot cooler than summer ;-)

It's a whole different world Chris
If I were living in the South I'd be on the roads every week-end, never mind the weather - with the exception of floodings -
To be honest, driving in Paris is not that fun ... but it's OK on a Sunday morning once a month
It's a good occasion for me to see other cars beside english cars :P

I must admit that some of them brought back old memories, such as the Alfetta Quadrifoglio which is identical to my good old girl
- I should never haved given it away  - or the Toyota Celica - memories from my australian days - I am not sure whether
I'll take part in the events organized by the club, but at least I'll join the noggins ... so you can expect more pics to come

Cheers,
Fred

Last Sunday was a bright blue sky sunny day over Vincennes, it was packed with cars & visitors
(you can't judge on the pics below because they were early shots ~ 09:00 am ... but a couple of hours later
I felt just like in a shopping mall 2 days before Xmas  )

Before I sort the 350+ pictures of that event, here's a teaser showing the cars of Scimitar owners:
- Fred Hermand's Panhard 24
- Andrew De Bernes' beautiful - and rare - Heron Europa
- Purple

Enjoy !
Fred

Interesting, Fred, I wasn't aware of the Heron Europa, but I see from a quick google that one of their bodies was the basis for the first Diva GT, which was a car that I always liked the look of, watching motor racing at Oulton Park back in the mid-sixties :)

Roger, I must admit that I had never heard about the Heron before last Sunday ... only 12 built
From the distance I first thought that a TVR had joined us  ... only to realize my mistake.
Andrew sure has a nice collection of cars ... I wonder what will come next
