Gloster Storage Solutions

Post by scimjim » Thu Mar 14, 2019 10:55 pm

Having setup and run the storage facility on behalf of the Club for 6 years, in October last year I took on the lease myself.

It’s basically a large double apex barn that we cleared out and made secure (professional roller doors and strong access door with multiple dog bolts). It’s well ventilated and dry, but a dust cover is recommended.

Prices are very competitive (in fact, rediculously cheap compared with anything else remotely comparable I’ve seen)

1 month - £45
6 months - £240
Annual - £460

Cars must be driveable (I’m getting too old to push other people’s projects :D ) and I will trickle charge batteries, keep tyres inflated and run the engines every so often.

We also have a great relationship with Rich March of Classic Details, a professional detailing company (and Scimitar owner) who will be happy to quote for any level of cleaning and protection - before, during, or after storage.

Customers are welcome to pop in and give their cars a cuddle - with a little notice I can move them around so they can be taken out for a drive around the farm.

Anonymity is our first line of security, so please don’t ask for a postcode (that’s only given to customers after they’ve visited :D ) and it doesn’t appear on Google street view - but we’re somewhere between Cheltenham and Cirencester.

Currently we have one space (car left last week to begin rebuild after 3 years storage) with another becoming available at the end of this month after winter hibernation. The next space will probably be in 6 months time.
