Electrics upgrade so far... All Scotchloks removed and all circuits individually fused.

This forum seems to be getting terribly incestuous!

Some more progress on the upholstery. We did choose another material (well actually 'er indoors did!). It is the red flowery pattern on the shelf behind the seat backs.

Then I got a roll of 28 metres of this Dralon for £20 and she decided we might as well use it. Curtains still to make and will be a Mulberry (rich red) velvet. Hoping it will all be done by Billing show.

Other jobs done include new fog lamps, a new water pump and filter and radio/TV installation. First complaint from 'er indoors is that the beds are too hard. Fair point actually so will have to splash out another £66 on softer foams. I used the blue seating grade foam on professional advice, but for dual use as mattresses, it is a bit much.

Trial fitted. Still some more buttoning to do and one hinge to move out of the way of a fixing screw!

My car and caravan at Billing Aquadrome, with the awning fitted. The awning is intended for motorhome use and so can be a self contained unit. It has an internal 2 berth tent and fastens into the Cheltenham's awning rails quite well. There is a small discrepancy in the fit, but of no real consequence. I may knock up a filler strip to convert to the exact contours of the van, but it really isn't an issue as is. I paid £150 for the awning, so a good deal.

We didn't get together at Curb's but as you are going to Carfest, how about handing it to someone there? Also that rear bumper would be handy. I would really like the C3 gearbox as a spare, but I have no way to collect it.

Andy, small pedantic point, but isn't that Billing? unless you brought your own lawnmower too!
