Floor Drain holes

I have some holes in the floor of my SE5A. Are there supposes to be some grommets or summat in them??

Grommets will lead to wet feet if your car leaks - they will lead to wet feet if it does not leak but you travel through fords. Some you win - - -

The mk3 Cortina I had years ago had some grommets in the boot floor with a hole with a 90deg bend in it, so they would drain out, but were less likely to let water in :)

Fortunately my car no longer leaks....much. I don't have any carpet either - long since rotted away. I wonder if I can make them whistle?

On a run ( scimitar ) the lead car took us through a ford - you learn one way or another
