It failed, sucking brake fluid into engine, very impressive on the overrun . I have two girlings sat on my shelf needing a refurb.

But a while back I bought a brand new Land Rover bulkhead servo as an idea, so it’s sat on the same shelf as the knackered girlings.

But Phil you are probably right, (again). Better get the original refurbed.

If you found a dual circuit master cylinder which fits in the original location/pedal box, there are dual circuit servos which look like 2 “normal” units back to back. Pipe one circuit to one half, and the other circuit to the second half.
