Seat Diaghragms

Post by scimjim » Thu Nov 15, 2018 11:00 pm

Bought mine some time in 2016 but I can’t find the receipt to show where I got them from

Anyway, they appear to be in perfect condition - and they’ve had some use too.

Of course the SE6A used the Nylon Net and bonded rubber side strips that seem to have lasted better than the 100% moulded rubber diaphragms.

But even these do split and break.

A bullet proof repair seems to be the Old School type of webbing if fitted correctly, and the right type fitted.

Speaking of seats, I have a few Black plus Tan Vinyl Original seat covers.

Bases and backs still in plastic.

No one seems to list them so I suppose I should get them out and offer them on scimweb.

I also have a few SE6 interior parts such as Sun Visor panels, rear seat backs, some with hinges, Rear boot area transom panels, in OE and Fibreglass.

I can see a sale coming on for Chrimbo LOL.

Mark

I honestly can`t remember what I have Phil

This was compounded when I was given 12 weeks to vacate my premises after 15 years, so most of it was just boxed or bagged and thrown into my mates workshop.

Got lots of Fibreglass repair panels etc, including a New bare SS1 door and inner wing ( I think).
