H3 LED fog light bulbs

Post by Bikergonebald » Tue Jul 31, 2018 1:04 pm

Does anyone have experience of H3 LED foglight bulbs?

I've bought an NOS set of Raydyot fog / driving lights for my Se6a, they come with black plastic covers with the Raydyot name translucent so that it's illuminated when the lights are and the covers fitted. I'm told the covers can stand the heat from the bulb if left on during use but will they really? The reduced heat of LED bulbs would make sure that they are OK with the added benefit that the already strained alternator and electrical system will cope better.

Has anyone tried LED H3 bulbs? Most seem to be physically bigger and lots of them on Amazon have reviews that they don't fit a lot of applications.
