unbraked dollie (or A frame, it's the same thing in this context) is legal to recover a vehicle from harms way (it's mentioned as an exemption from the C&U regs)
I was 'considering' using said dollie to take a car from Glasgow to home, does removing the rotor arm count??,
discussion with Mr Plod 'honestly sir the nearest repair garage to the breakdown site happens to be mine' . . .. . :-)
wonder if the AA would spot that 'problem' ? (no diagnostics plug  )

for me really probably not worth getting worried aboot??

Anyone that tows a car behind their motorhome, an A-frame in Europe is very worried about the legal definitions. Great to see the UK sticking two fingers up to the EU and saying that a car on an A frame is a trailer, so providing it meets the C&U regs for trailers, it’s legal.
