Hi,

Back axle off? Blimey thats a job and a half, it was bad enough changing the rear axle bearings. Not sure what my ratio is, but its a four speed manul NON overdrive with the earlier type back axle, so suits the roads around here like a dream. Not so great on the motorway, but there arent any around here anyway. Giving it the bean rounds here its briliant, plus the gear change i find is smoother than the 4 speed OD.

Once your car is up and running feel free to pop over to Newtown, always up for chat about cars, with a beer. Or just a random drive for the sake it, which is what i was doing the other day, 40 mile round trip, cos i can.
